This is NOT a basketball camp...
You will learn concepts, ideas, methods, and strategies that will improve your ability to play basketball that you will not learn in many basketball camps. You will learn to be a more effective and powerful player immediately and be able to raise the level of your game.
All of this will be accomplished through individual and/or small group instruction. Each session will make you a more effective basketball player through the use of specific basketball skills and tactics rather than through the use of complex systems, plays, or drills in a large group setting.
The Basketball4All Academy is an individualized, ability specific approach, with special attention given to proper skill progressions to maximize the improvement of a person's level of basketball performance.

While developing the players total game is foremost in the Academy's philosophy, attention also will be paid to specific position play. Skills and concepts unique to certain positions such as point guard, shooting guard, forwards or centers will be covered, many of which are never addressed in a large camp environment..
Meet the Director...
Coach Ray Lokar has been the Basketball Coaching Education Coordinator for the Amateur Athletic Foundation, the editor of Basketball-lifetips.com, and the Head Basketball Coach of the 2002 California Interscholastic Federation Champions while at Bishop Amat High School. Ray is now the Lead Trainer and Mentor Coach with the Positive Coaching Alliance and coordinates their Partner Development efforts in Southern California. He has coached in the San Gabriel Valley, just east of Los Angeles, Ca for over 25 years at the youth, high school, and college levels. Coach "LOK" has worked countless camps and clinics during that time for ages 8-18 and is presently the Director of The Basketball4all Foundation. Lokar has been actively involved with Applied Cognitive Engineering in the business development and marketing of the ACE IntelliGym(tm) . The IntelliGym(tm) is a revolutionary training tool that enables basketball players to dramatically improve their game-intelligence skills. The Academy offers lessons on an individual basis at pre-arranged times and locations convenient to all. Most teaching is done on Saturdays and Sundays. There is limited time available on weekdays. Please call early to set up days and times.
